RT GP Mt Annan

Mt Annan Enduro Trail. Like a coin this trail offers two sides. On one side the Enduro Trail is a top spot to get out for a couple of laps or so with family or mates. At the trail head there is water, toilets and plenty of areas for a choice of for a picnic or a couple of pies. The trail has been designed with your family and friends in mind, it is clearly marked and divided into three connecting trails each leading off the other. You start out on the easier trail and if you have the skills, continue onto the further sections or just follow the trail as marked to complete the easier trail. So you can come out with other riders and razz around, building your skills. This trail is defiantly fun for just a cruise or a hot couple of laps.

On the flip side, Mt Annan Enduro Trail is a tough trail to ride all day long. Where you were building skills and cruising with mates, under racing conditions the trail seems to get harder. The pinchy climbs are sapping, the rollers and berms hardly flow at speed, making you work throughout most of the trail. But it isn't all bad, you need plenty of speed for all the rock-gardens and there are many more open sections that complement a good turn of speed.

Which side of the coin did you land on when riding Rocky Trail's Grand Prix at Mt Annan?

JetBlack 12hr Data

While I didn't attempt any super fast lap, looks like my descents were just as fast as anyone out there.

A quick look at my data and there are some interesting points to take away from it.

On an additional note the 30min period after 05:33 was a bike swap and the low HR period around 08:00 was a period off the bike.
